Disable Password Complexity Requirements?

First, let me start out by saying: The server is not joined to any domain yet.

Tried to create a temporary admin account with a lame password (like "password") for testing purposes.  Hyper-V Server wouldn't let me, complaining that it didn't meet the minimum password requirements.  Tried to disable that requirement via a remote workstation running gpedit.msc pointed at the HV server.  The password restriction settings don't seem to be there.  In the time I allotted to tackling this issue, I couldn't get secpol.msc to point at the HV server (tried using /computer=servername switch).  Maybe it's not possible?

The reason I started with that statement (about the server not being joined to a domain), is because all my searches led to folks saying "change the domain group policy".

Unresolved...

hvconfig is missing?

On of the first thing I noticed was sconfig was running in a command window, and not hvconfig. I'd been reading all about how great it was and how everyone wanted it in Windows 2008 Server. Well, they got sconfig in R2, but I hadn't read that hvconfig was removed/replaced with sconfig in R2 version Hyper-V Server 2008.

Anyway, I finally got through the install and saw sconfig instead of hvconfig; and got concerned that I had a the wrong version (maybe a release candidate?). So, I started googling. Some of my searches:

hvconfig missing
hvconfig replaced

At the time none of those searches yielded anything helpful. I did eventually find something...but I can't find it now, of course. It's probably in the docs somewhere, but why would I look there? Hopefully this post helps someone else wondering where hvconfig went. HVconfig was relaced by sconfig in Hyper-V Server 2008 R2.

Btw, I hate the R2 naming convention.
